adidas x RAVI

Lynx Award

adidas Superstar Ravi is a collaboration that nobody saw coming. Streetwear meets street food in a hyper-local hype drop celebrating an iconic Pakistani restaurant via a reimagination of the classic Superstar sneaker. The campaign broke all the rules by launching in an older part of town far from where influencers live, leaving VIPs begging for a pair while local Satwa residents and creators got first dibs. It prioritized the founding family and their input into the design above all else, and celebrated staff, not models. That’s how it won the hearts of those who know there’s more to Dubai than the glitzy headlines.

Short poem video

Karak Flow - an original spoken word piece by Faraz Ali, written to celebrate the adidas Ravi collab @adidasdxb @ravirestaurantsuae. As a Pakistani UAE-based creator, his piece documents the flow of a river, representative of both the Ravi River and the flow of Karak; common inspiration for the spirit of the Originals, celebrating Karak as a shared tradition, an inclusive heritage, a river that flows and warms people of all backgrounds coming together at the iconic Ravi restaurant

I collaborated with the team to edit and co-produce the video, which was featured on social media platforms @ravirestaurantsuae and @farazalee, as well as displayed on screens during the event
